1. Services
Global Comfort Air provides residential and commercial HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance services across the Greater Toronto Area. All services are performed by licensed technicians in accordance with applicable Ontario codes and standards.
2. Appointments & Scheduling
Service appointments are scheduled subject to technician availability. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred time. We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to emergency service calls, weather conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will provide reasonable notice of any rescheduling.
3. Estimates & Pricing
Written estimates are provided before work begins for all non-emergency services. Estimates are valid for 30 days. Final pricing may vary from estimates if the scope of work changes or unforeseen conditions are discovered during service. Any changes to scope will be communicated and approved before proceeding.
4. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, cheque, and major credit cards. For larger installations, a deposit may be required at the time of booking. Overdue accounts may be subject to interest charges.
5. Warranties
We provide a 1-year labour warranty on all installation and repair work. Equipment warranties are provided by the manufacturer and vary by product. Lennox equipment installed by our certified technicians qualifies for full manufacturer warranty coverage. Warranty claims must be submitted within the warranty period.
6. Limitation of Liability
Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. We carry comprehensive commercial general liability insurance.
7. Permits & Inspections
We obtain all required permits for work that requires them under Ontario Building Code and TSSA regulations. Permit fees are included in or added to the quoted price. We coordinate all required inspections as part of our service.
8. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
